She knows exactly how to address common issues among children and resolve them with empowerment. I feel parents and teachers alike have a lot to gain from books like this as they teach crucial lessons to children at the perfect age. The front cover will intrigue young readers and have them wanting to dive into the book immediately. The writing is simple, allowing children to follow along easily whilst also increasing the chances of them remembering what they have read. The illustrations by the author are attractive and pull the reader in from the moment they see them. I hope to read even more of Lauren’s work soon, as I am excited to see what else she has up her sleeve.
