Frank, a boat hull builder, had finished 15 fast boat hulls for the Amazon Basin Authority out of the new carbon fiber construction. His fiberglass hulls were the very best and usually rose up and planed out quicker than the competition. Planing out at a lower speed meant quicker to max speed and less fuel used, faster and more efficient and the Amazon Basin Authority wants the Amazon River free of the drug trade and the cartels used fast boats. Frank’s chief engineer gave the Amazon Basin Authority the data on Insane Marine and 30 motors were purchased and built up by Insane Marine for the boats.

  • Meritocrats
    Stuart Evans
Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...

Correcting many false assumptions about ancient man, this short book tries to elevate ancient men and women to a more appropriate status. They were not brutes, proto-humans, or naked apes.
