The study of coordination chemistry has been demanding to the Inorganic chemists since they were identified in the 19th century. In the early days coordination compounds, which are also known as complexes seemed unusual partly because they appear to defy the usual rules which are applied to simple covalent compounds. However, recently coordination compounds evolve to comprise a large body of inorganic researches. This book, which is written in a style that is appropriate for a teaching text and laboratory manual, aims to introduce students to the utility of synthetic inorganic chemistry particularly in coordination compound synthesis; a discipline of a enormous importance to scientists and technologists in variety of industrial sectors. It also represents an astonishing bridge for undergraduate chemistry students and researchers. The book is intended to be used as an intermediate level that can serve both as an intelligible introduction to the students of coordination chemistry and as a laboratory manual for respective Inorganic chemistry courses. Moreover it can also be used as a spur to more advanced studies.

It is crucial that we strengthen existing structures worldwide, especially in earthquake-prone areas. Recent earthquakes have highlighted the inadequacy of many existing structures, which have been damaged from previous powerful earthquakes and have been designed without code provisions or according to old code provisions that are now obsolete. Furthermore, the majority of exis...
