This book analyzes how Black writers use their work to advocate and express certain grievances at the height of Injustice and excessive killing of people of African descent in America. The African-American continually experience violence, subjugation, incarceration and dehumanization in their daily lives. This thesis highlight how institutional racism has undermine the lives of African-Americans in the society. Both Patrisse Khan- Cullors, Asa Bandele and Angie Thomas, in their works illustrate how African-Americans have lived in constant fear of being arrested or killed by the institutions meant to ensure their safety and security. Explore how racialized policing practices affects black communities, contributing to a cycle of violence, distrust, and inequality. The Black Lives Matter movement is central to this analysis, highlighting it’s use of digital activism, community organizing and policy advocacy to challenge entrenched systems of oppression. Among many killings, the acquittal of the murderer of Trayvon Martin provoke the nationwide protest which inspire African-Americans to keep fighting to get justice.
