Quel est l’impact de la perte de pression d’entrée sur la puissance et le rendement d’une micro-turbine à gaz ? La réponse à cette question a été apportée grâce à la réalisation d’essais sur un banc d’essai entièrement équipé et à l’élaboration d’un modèle théorique simple mais puissant. De plus, les résultats finaux ont montré quantitativement que, en raison des effets d’échelle, la micro-turbine à gaz ROVER 1S/60 réagit différemment des turbines de plus grande taille. Les essais et les calculs ont été effectués à l’Institut des systèmes énergétiques et thermodynamiques de l’Université technique de Vienne.
