Os nemátodos parasitas são considerados um dos principais problemas de saúde, afetando a produção de pequenos ruminantes em todo o mundo devido à sua resistência aos anti-helmínticos comerciais. O tanino de acácia tem sido utilizado como estratégia alternativa de controlo. No entanto, as concentrações e as frequências podem provavelmente influenciar o efeito do tanino no controlo dos parasitas. O objetivo deste livro foi determinar o grau de infestação das pastagens e de infeção por nemátodos em ovinos e caprinos, a resistência dos nemátodos a alguns anti-helmínticos e o potencial do tanino de acácia no controlo dos nemátodos.
