The German industry adopted Industry 4.0 to employ technology to boost manufacturing efficiency. This industry model stands out for its painstakingly planned, coordinated, and controlled processes that yield high productivity, sound procedural practices, pro-environmental outcomes, and good performance. To enable self-monitoring, improved communication, less scrap, precision, and mass production without requiring human intervention, Industry 4.0 refers to the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) into traditional automation manufacturing and industrial operations. Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Green Manufacturing are some of the technologies that make up Industry 4.0. Compared to earlier times, these technologies improve the intelligence and productivity of industries. 3.0. One might argue that all of the technologies associated with green manufacturing are sustainable and a sign of the future, and that the Industry 4.0 phase is an interconnected framework. Industry 4.0’s usage of multiple green applications in environmental management leads to both a sustainable and productive present and future.
