Este libro, dedicado al tema de la inclusión social como base para la política y la gestión pública en el Perú, recoge las ponencias del VII Seminario de la Reforma del Estado que organiza anualmente la Escuela de Gobierno y Políticas Públicas de la PUCP.En este volumen, editado por Ismael Muñoz, se presentan y discuten distintas experiencias de la política pública, en particular de su rama social, con el fin de que la inclusión sea uno de los ejes centrales en la reforma de la gestión pública en nuestro país. Asimismo, el libro permite dialogar sobre los problemas y avances en las políticas públicas, tanto en su diseño como en su implementación, para que estas contribuyan a la gestión y a su enseñanza, desmitificando su carácter meramente operativo y técnico e insertándolas en el espacio de la política. 10
