After leaving home, Igoe Bown faced mental health challenges they never had before. At age 20 Brown had a mental breakdown and returned home. Here you will find poety they compiled during this time of extreme suffering. There are themes of self harm and abuse and the expresion of the ideology and effects of these harmful practices. Brown takes these strong and intense emotions and has compled a collection of some of their darkest thoughts and experiences during this time. The liberation of embracing what can no longer be hidden or denied in themself, Brown’s short collection of work brings words and names to the incomprehemsible.
