Belief consciousness is by the brain is the belief of atheistic materialism, in evolutionary theory. Biblical theology explains consciousness is by the spirit. God created man in His image (Genesis 1:26). 'God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth' (John 4:24).
