In League With Israel: A Tale Of The Chattanooga Conference is a novel written by Annie Fellows Johnston. The book tells the story of a group of women who come together at a conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee to discuss their support for the Zionist movement and the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine. The main character, Ruth, is a young woman who is passionate about the cause and becomes involved in the conference’s activities. Along the way, she meets a variety of other women who are also dedicated to the cause and learns about the challenges and obstacles that they face in their efforts to support Israel. The book is a fictional account of the real-life Chattanooga Conference, which took place in 1919 and was attended by a number of prominent Zionist leaders. Through the story of Ruth and her fellow activists, the book provides a compelling look at the early years of the Zionist movement and the efforts of those who worked tirelessly to support it.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
