After getting a glimpse of General Metallic’s methods to take down the Hue System, Officer Caleb McEntire demands that Elisa Graves not go back to work in the hope of protecting her. However, after staying home for one day, Elisa decides to go back to work only to encounter the man known as CX, who is probably General Metallic’s undercover accomplice. Shaken by the experience, Elisa finally understands the reason for Caleb’s warnings, but this only leads to a heated discussion with him when she tries to figure out what is going on. Despite their emotional exchange, Caleb tries his best not to think about Elisa and how much closer they have become during her house arrest as his colleagues start to notice the change in his behaviour. Soon after being relieved from his monitoring duties, he gets sent to the Canvas Grounds due to potential threats that are growing in that location, separating him from Elisa and leaving her vulnerable to another attack from General Metallic.
