Kommunikationsprotokolle für die Vernetzung in Fahrzeugen sind eine Methode zur Übertragung von Daten zwischen verteilten Modulen über einen seriellen Datenbus oder drahtlos. In diesem Seminarbericht wurden folgende Kommunikationsprotokolle vorgestellt: LIN, CAN, J1850, TTP/C, FlexRay, MOST, IDB1394 usw. Es wurde eine Studie zu den Eigenschaften und der Leistung verschiedener Protokolle durchgeführt, die in der Automobilindustrie und Automatisierung weit verbreitet sind. Unter Berücksichtigung der Kommunikationsanforderungen wurde eine vergleichende Studie dieser Protokolle durchgeführt. Der Seminarbericht behandelt auch die Verwendung verschiedener Protokolle entsprechend den Anforderungen in der Automatisierung. Der erste Teil gibt einen Überblick über verschiedene Kommunikationssysteme, die in Automobilanwendungen verwendet werden. Kapitel 3 schafft einen Hintergrund, indem es die Entwicklung der Kommunikationssysteme von ihren Anfängen bis zur heutigen Situation erläutert. Kapitel 4 gibt eine Einführung in verschiedene Protokolle und deren Klassifizierung. Kapitel 5 erläutert kurz die Anwendung von Kommunikationsprotokollen in eingebetteten Netzwerken in Fahrzeugen. Am Ende dieses Berichts werden die Zukunftsperspektiven von Kommunikationsprotokollen in der Automobilindustrie diskutiert.
