You put voice to my feelings throughout your book. I pray it will bless others with cancer as it has me.” Bernadette, New Jersey“This is NOT a band-aid over cancer book. Every time I turned a page there was something there that matched my own pain, fear, and anger. It was so real, so true, so raw. I promise this book will touch you, make you weep and slowly begin to heal that hurt, unfathomable place where only you and God can go.”Lisa, VirginiaElena Chevalier and her husband Wayne have served the Lord side-by-side for more than 30 years. We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...
  • Broken Bodies
    Davis McGuirt / Heather Geisel
If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
