Este estudo aborda os impactos da regeneração natural assistida (RNA) a nível socioeconómico e ambiental em três aldeias dos municípios de Magaria e Dantchiao, no departamento de Magaria. Inquéritos realizados nas três aldeias permitiram-nos identificar elementos que nos permitem avaliar a dinâmica associada à prática da regeneração natural assistida. A metodologia adotada para a realização deste estudo baseia-se, em primeiro lugar, na pesquisa documental, seguida da fase de campo para a recolha de dados e, por fim, na análise e tratamento dos dados com a ajuda de softwares como: Microsoft Excel e Sphinx Plus-V5 para os gráficos, ARC-GIS e Adobe Illustrator para a realização dos mapas. A regeneração natural assistida permitiu aos agricultores rurais desenvolver a agrossilvicultura. Os impactos da RNA são diversos e variados na zona de estudo. A venda da madeira proveniente da RNA rende, em média, 10 250 F CFA por ano aos produtores. Esta prática também permitiu reverdecer as terras de cultivo, fertilizar os solos e aumentar o rendimento agrícola.
