Global warming is; ’the gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth’s atmosphere, due to increase in its level of carbon dioxide and other pollutants.’ Extreme weather events, rise in the sea-level and a plethora of diseases are some of the serious concerns, which have drawn attention of policy-makers and scientists. It has a number of negative effects too.Present modest work is an attempt to deal with a range of issues and angles, concerning global warming, under one cover. It has been prepared, with a view to encapsulating all, that is directly or indirectly related to the problem.This work, in particular, discusses various impacts of global warming. Hopefully, it would cater to the needs of the scholars, researchers, policy makers, scientists, academics and of course general readers.
