Author and Artist Christina J Fox. It’s the 10th December 2023 as I write this. I am 54 years old. As I write I have been an Artist most my life a skill I remember wanting to do since I was a child as long as I can remember. I recently thought I have done 100s of paintings and if I can’t sell them I would still find it hard to stop my gift because it’s my life. So I thought, what can I do if I paint slower? I thought if I can try a story I would still be able to use my Art with the story. I decided that a story to include Imagination would be great. I have loved using my imagination with my Art. So I decided to write this story for 12 - 18 year olds but I could see some adults might enjoy it also.The story is of a 12 year old girl with a great imagination based in Ballyclare Ireland in 1947. I don’t want to say too much to spoil the story except that she goes to many places with her imagination. The story is based on myself as a Roman Catholic with an Irish and Artistic background. I have lived in Peterborough UK most of my life. I hope 12 - 18 year olds are able to understand and enjoy this book.
