To our demise and ultimately the beginnings of our Christian maturity, we discover that there are no perfect formulas, only a perfect God and imperfect man. And even though Jesus Christ is our supernatural link, the fine lines between His way and ours can be difficult to see. For instance, last week were you bold or prideful? Humble or timid? Cautious or fearful? Faithful or foolhardy? So many fine lines; so easy to fool ourselves. Oft unaware, we sing our heartfelt rendition of the Perfect Song...and then wonder why there isn’t an encore.
