It tells about the story of how the author came to Germany in the 1960, finding himself without a penny or a relative, started living by overcoming difficulties only to survive. He studied German, got a degree, taught Chinese culture, wrote books and experienced every social aspect of Germany while bringing German the culture of his home country that he loved. Patriotism, families, friendships and love are deeply intertwined with the author’s legendary life in Germany. The author compares and ponders on the Eastern and Western cultural differences as he lives and experiences, and witnesses the changing times in a different world.
