Il settore edile opera in contesti molto incerti, soggetti a vari tipi di rischi che insorgono durante l’esecuzione di un progetto. La presente ricerca è stata condotta per identificare i principali fattori di rischio coinvolti durante l’esecuzione di un progetto, le categorie di rischio, le ultime tendenze e pratiche relative alle tecniche di identificazione dei rischi, nonché i metodi di prevenzione e riduzione dei rischi adottati dalle imprese appaltatrici operanti in Pakistan, classificandoli in base alla loro importanza e al loro utilizzo. La ricerca è stata condotta in Pakistan e si è concentrata in particolare sulle imprese appaltatrici impegnate in progetti edilizi di varia natura. Ho analizzato le tendenze nella gestione del rischio delle imprese appaltatrici. Durante la raccolta dei dati sono stati visitati alcuni cantieri. I dati sono stati analizzati mediante strumenti statistici al fine di individuare fatti e cifre concreti. Sulla base di questa ricerca ho formulato alcune raccomandazioni rivolte alle imprese appaltatrici.
