El presente texto abarca un estudio sobre el uso de los signos distintivos en el contexto empresarial cubano, específicamente en el Grupo Empresarial CUBANIQUEL. El objetivo principal giró en torno a revelar las tendencias en los usos de los signos distintivos como mecanismo legitimador de la imagen corporativa en el sector empresarial. El libro cuenta con dos capítulos. El primero muestra un conjunto de reflexiones sobre el marco teórico referencial. Se parte de la premisa que la imagen corporativa, quien contiene los signos distintivos de una entidad, es ante todo un fenómeno de comunicación, insertada en la lógica del mercado; luego se delimitan categorías como identidad e imagen corporativa y signos distintivos. Para cerrar este capítulo se hace referencia al correlato jurídico que norma y regula este aspecto en la realidad cubana. El segundo capítulo, sigue la lógica de análisis desde el contexto hasta el objeto de estudio. De este modo, se reflexiona sobre el sistema de perfeccionamiento empresarial el cual marcó una pauta en el uso del Manual de Identidad Corporativa.
