An inspirational book about the struggles and pitfalls of a young woman struggling to raise her two sons alone, coping with an abusive/troubled relationship, the abandonment of her father, and facing a possible prison sentence of twenty-five years to life. Life seemed unfair to her, through tears of despair and thoughts of suicide she asks a question, 'God if you are real, help me!' Despite her shortcomings and inability to believe that anyone could ever love her or care about her, God in His infinite wisdom and awesome power stepped out of eternity and into time by speaking a word of hope, encouragement, and healing. Eventually unbelief, despair, hatred, and low self-esteem were replaced with faith in God, and she was endowed with power from on high, peace, love, and self-confidence.The road to victory became easier as she walked with her eyes focused and fixed on the One who saved her from what could have been a tragic end to her life. Life in prison was a blessed one compared to the life she lived prior to being incarcerated and for this she was eternally grateful to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Amazingly this disastrous situation was turned around by Divine Intervention, which inevitably led this woman out of prison and to a life filled with promise, hope, and success. Through belief and having faith in Jesus Christ ultimately this woman was able to overcome low self-esteem, hopelessness, and failure. Upon release from prison, life took a dramatic turn as the Favor of God opened many doors for her and closed many as well. She refused to look back at her past, she pressed toward something totally new to her, being dependent on the One who saved her from destruction, death, and hell.Although she only had a High School Diploma, a few college credits, and to make matters worse, a criminal background, she was able to secure a job without having to be ashamed of where she came from, because she knew where she was going. She had a new lease on life and would not allow society to dictate to her what she could have because of where she had been. She knew that God was able to cause all grace and mercy to abound toward her because of what He had already done a few years ago, He was still the same God that cancelled the life sentence and said, 'I can use this girl because she’s not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!' Her ultimate goal in life is to be a witness for Jesus Christ by sharing her testimony all over the world and speak of His unmerited favor, His infinite grace, wisdom, sovereign power, and most of all His love toward all mankind. Her passion and calling is to teach and empower young women to walk out of abusive relationships and take their lives and self-esteem back. Through her love for Jesus Christ, she has been empowered to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by the word of her testimony and by the liberty God has given her to take back everything the enemy has stolen from her. Her health was restored after the enemy issued her a death sentence of cancer. The Lord healed her and restored her to health and a life filled with much peace and joy! Faith in God is what brought her out of her many trials and tribulations and it is her trust in Him that will carry her on to a glorious ending. She does not promise that all will be saved or that they will even accept the good news, but if one person’s life is impacted the way her life was, the heavens will rejoice forever. This book was written to extend hope, encouragement, and peace by empowering all those that are facing seemingly hopeless situations. It is to be used as a motivational guide to mend the brokenhearted and empower the wounded soul by building a bridge that leads to happiness, joy, and success.

There is a dark side to light, you know.  Evil wears many disguises.  It always camouflages itself as other than it is; and, good men are deceived.  The very nature of deception is that the deceived do not know that they are deceived.  There is a dark side to light, you know.  In the midst of the darkness – the children of light!  The backdrop – spiritual warfare. This Christia...

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
