I am a self-proclaimed 'nerd' who loves movies, music, comic books, and sci-fi novels and is willing to discuss the finer points in superhero lore. I have always wanted to write and illustrate a children’s book for several years now. When my daughter was born, and I went on paternity leave, I decided that it would be now or never. I want to make books that are fun and informative. I primarily want books that my child can recognize herself in. Representation matters!
