Expone claramente la historia y significado de este sistema de signos y su aplicación en la vida diaria como método de consulta y filosofía de vida. En esta nueva edición se han revisado y corregido los errores tipográficos de la anterior. También se han mejorado o sustituido todos los gráficos que tenían una calidad baja o no eran correctos. En el capítulo 'Los Hexagramas' se han sustituido en su totalidad ya que los errores eran muy numerosos. Este capítulo también se ha ampliado con la adición de los textos de las 384 líneas. El capítulo sobre la geomancia ahora cuenta con más información sobre el sistema africano conocido con el nombre de Ifá.
