A girl. A curse. A purpose. For almost half his life, Hunter dreamed about a singular girl. When he finds her, he thinks that’s the end--but it’s really just the beginning. The morning after the girl in his dreams screams for help, Hunter sets out across the world to find her with no sense of where she is and no idea of what he’ll find--just that he knows she needs him and he will get to her. In a matter of days, he crossed countries and wound up on her doorstep--where it seems like she’s been waiting for him for just as long. He thinks this is the answer he’s been looking for. Then she breaks the new of a curse; he needs to help her break it or else bad things will happen--so he does. And when the dust settles, they and their new group of friends start to think that finally things can settle, can return to normal. Only Hunter has the sneaking feeling that something far worse than the curse is coming for them and they need to prepare. So once again, they set out in search of answers, confronting family members they never thought they’d see again about fantasies most never thought to be true in the hopes that someone knew what they’d be facing. They can only hope they find something of value before whatever lurks in the shadows makes it back to find them.
