20 thousand years ago humans were living more satisfying, successful and fully functioning lives than we do at present; we can learn much from them. Throughout the intervening years power and destroyer personalities have usurped the destiny of our species bringing about programmed functional deterioration (PFD). A state in which human mental, emotional and social capabilities have stagnated. Humanity is stunted, unable to plot a course into the future, he runs around in circles of death and destruction. To avoid extinction, he must regain control of his life and implement measures for the well-being of all. For this to happen, humans will have to become more fully functioning.Societal myths and personal self-deception must be discarded. Humans must re-establish their communal disposition, their animal-ness, their place in nature; re-calibrate brain filters to screen out harmful ideas, thoughts and behaviours, while accepting those that are beneficial. Form new values, behaviours and life philosophies to circumvent personal and societal shortcomings. All of this requires a life plan. Action is required to implement the plan. A PELGAM is the motor driving the action. A PELGAM is a potential (P) created by combining environmental learning (EL), genetics (G), and ancient memories (AM). We’ll discuss 11 of them (physical, spatial, emotional, creative, intrapersonal relationships, nature relationships, interpersonal relationships, spiritual relationships, philosophy, destroyer, power,). A fully trained PELGAM applied to daily life manifests the fullest human capability put into action. In the physical PELGAM this produces a super athlete; in the creative PELGAM a renowned artist, and so on. Full human functioning demands balanced development of each and every PELGAM. Development of one or two PELGAMs (specialization) will produce an unbalanced misfit unable to successfully negotiate the broad spectrum of life.Balanced development requires a safe supportive natural environment in which communally organized humans can learn from each other, as well as, drawing upon educational and technological resources. They can learn to replace personal competition with cooperative support, discard materialism and enhance meaningful-ness, reduce the human population and increase that of other species.Brain filter re-calibration and balanced development of PELGAMs are prerequisites for the next evolutionary step of humanity; the ascendance up to the stars from whence they came.

Three particular themes are basic to this study. Second, and closely related to the first tenet, man is not separable from his environment. We all share in this...
