Have you ever wondered if God really exists? Throughout our history and in different cultures, the religious phenomenon has always been present. Why, after all, does man develop a religious feeling throughout his experience of the world? What makes them believe in gods? Is faith really something positive for human beings? These and other questions are addressed and questioned throughout this book, the result of a two-and-a-half-year master’s research project, from the perspective of the German philosopher Ludwig Feuerbach (1804-1872), best known as one of the minds that greatly influenced authors such as Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche and Sigmund Freud. The invitation is made to those who dare to cross, as the very meaning of the author’s name reveals, the ’stream of fire’ to a philosophical understanding of the God of Christianity and other forms of expression of religious sentiment.
