Nando has come to a crossroads in his young life. He is not the type of boy that gets into much trouble, but due to his shyness he has managed to create some big problems for himself at school and then at home. His parents who have very different views both want to solve the problem in very different ways. Whilst eavesdropping on his parents conversation Nando’s life takes a drastic turn which triggers a chain of events that lands him in a strange upside down world where nothing is literally quite as it seems. The only certain thing in this land is a rope path which Nando feels compelled to follow. Whilst trying to make sense of this new world he makes an extremely odd friend who accompanies him on his eventful journey. When the rope path finally comes to an end so does Nando’s journey and at the end of the rope is something very unexpected. There is just one question, how long is this piece of string?
