Grandpa and Grandma sent us two train tickets so we could spend a week at their ranch in the mountains.  Grandma likes to bake things, and Grandpa likes to invent things, so we always have a fun time at their ranch.  Grandpa took us for a ride on his new jet boat and made lunch on the Hot Dog Launcher Grill.  Grandma made more yummy foood that you could eat in a month,  We all hiked up Mount Nevercrest and had a picnic with a marvelous view.  And Pete took the rocket powered lawn mower for a spin around the neighborhood. On the last night of our visit Grandpa gave me a cardboard box filled with assorted nuts and bolts and miscellaneous hardware items.  I said, 'Thank you', but really wasnt’t sure what I’d ever do with a Box Of Bolts.  Well, on our trip home we encountered one small problem after another, and each time Pete found a hardware item in the Box Of Bolts that fixed the problem!  We put a missing wheel back on a trike for a tyke, kept a kite flying in the sunshine, helped Amber and Violet launch thier model rockets,and even rescued Claudette from an overbearing umbrells.  Which all goes to show that knowing how to fin things can make an average guy into a real hero!
