How Did I Make It This Far?: Journey of a Sharecropper’s Son - A Memoir of Joseph Abram, Jr. is a powerful true story of endurance, faith, and the unshakeable will to rise above humble beginnings. Born to a sharecropper, Joseph Abram, Jr. paints a vivid picture of hard work and resilience that shaped his earliest memories. Through personal stories, he reveals the lessons learned in the tight-knit embrace of family. As he grows, the world expands, presenting opportunities that demand courage, discipline, and the determination to dream bigger than his surroundings. His journey unfolds with honesty and warmth, reminding readers that success is not inherited but fought for through perseverance and faith in God’s plan. This memoir celebrates heritage while inspiring anyone who has ever started with little yet believed they were destined for more. It is a testimony of how hard work, grace, and purpose can carry a man further than he ever imagined. Through every setback and every breakthrough, Abram’s story asks one profound question, How Did I Make It This Far? He proves that the answer lies in his determination, gratitude, and an unwavering hope.Joseph Abram, Jr. is the second of five sons born to Joseph Abram, Sr. and Beatrice Moore-Abram.
