Having an honest relationship with God is a delicate balance of faith and doubt. There have been too many things in life that don’t add up, don’t line up and don’t make sense. If God is God, then he must be able to handle tough questions and fierce argument. Countless times I’ve struggled with life and God, oftentimes arguing for hours, and sometimes just giving up. And it goes on ...We need to be ourselves with God and not something we we’re supposed to be. What if God put on a 'face' so as to hide his true character? Would that be honest? Is that what we want? Well, it certainly wouldn’t be God. He called me for truth and intimacy with him, not a role, not a title - just a Father and his son.Questions. Struggles. Waiting. After so many, many years studying the Bible, following Jesus and just living this difficult existence ... I thought to write these things down. Do they matter? I don’t know. But here they are, for what it’s worth.
