Holy Bible Audit, by G. J. Jackson, moves cover to cover through scripture, from the two contradictory creation accounts in Genesis to the final visions of Revelation, testing every major story against archaeology, science, textual criticism, and the Bible’s own internal consistency. G. J. Jackson walks through Eden, the flood, and Babel, the patriarchs and their lies, the plagues and exodus, the conquest of Canaan, and the rise and fall of Israel’s kings, showing where numbers fail to add up, where morality shifts without explanation, and where sweeping public miracles left no trace in the historical record. The second half of the book turns to the New Testament, examining the four gospels and the contradictions between them, the historical silence surrounding Jesus’s miracles and trial, the disputed resurrection accounts, and the outsized role Paul played in shaping a religion built around a man he never met. Later chapters trace how the biblical canon actually formed, which gospels and letters were excluded or destroyed, and how two very different portraits of God, one wrathful and tribal, one loving and universal, ended up bound inside the same book.Written with dark humor and zero patience for apologetics that explain away obvious problems, G. J. Jackson treats the Bible as a profoundly human document worth understanding honestly rather than defending reflexively. The book does not ask readers to abandon meaning they find in scripture, only to stop pretending its contradictions and historical gaps are not there.

This type of pottery, of which t...
