Filtration ist ein häufig angewandtes Verfahren in fast allen Bereichen unseres menschlichen Lebens. Es wird in unseren Haushalten zur Reinigung von Wasser oder in der Küche zur Abwasserbehandlung eingesetzt, in verschiedenen industriellen Prozessen verwendet und ohne Filtration wären fast alle Bereiche des menschlichen Lebens betroffen. Daher handelt es sich um ein wichtiges Verfahren, das kontinuierlich verbessert und weiterentwickelt werden muss, um stets effiziente und kostengünstige Filtrationsmethoden bereitzustellen. Gegenwärtig ist die Feinstaubbelastung aufgrund ihrer potenziellen Gesundheitsrisiken weltweit ein großes Problem, und die Größe der Partikel wird direkt mit der Ursache von Gesundheitsproblemen in Verbindung gebracht. Aufgrund dieser schwerwiegenden Auswirkungen der Feinstaubbelastung, insbesondere durch Feinstaub, wurden strenge Vorschriften erlassen, um die Feinstaubemissionen (PM 2,5) in Industrieanlagen zu kontrollieren. Daher besteht die Notwendigkeit, effiziente Luftfilter zu entwickeln, die in der Lage sind, PM 2,5-Partikel aus Industrieemissionen zu entfernen. Die Studie zielte darauf ab, Celluloseacetat-Nanofasern herzustellen, die zwischen Polypropylen-Vliesstoffsubstraten eingebettet sind, um sie möglicherweise in der Luftfiltration einzusetzen.
