Sherry, a driven black reporter in her early 30s, is ready to make her mark in journalism. When she’s given the assignment of a lifetime-a chance to interview the elusive Santa Claus at the North Pole-she jumps at the opportunity. But when Sherry arrives, she discovers that the jolly old man isn’t quite what she expected. Instead, she finds Nick, a grumpy, heartbroken Santa who’s more interested in avoiding the world than spreading Christmas cheer. Determined to get her story, Sherry refuses to back down, even as she falls for the man beneath the red suit. Nick, centuries old and still reeling from a painful divorce, has lost his spark. His loneliness overshadows the joy he once found in bringing happiness to children. The last thing he needs is a persistent young reporter poking around in his life-especially one as captivating as Sherry. But as Sherry breaks through his icy exterior, Nick realizes that she might be the one to heal his wounded heart.
