Healed From the Inside Out

I’m so excited! From the three book series 'From Brokenness to Healing', the final book of the collection Healed from the Inside Out is finally here. This book took over two years to write because I was still living it. Although I knew what the book would consist of the process of writing it took me to a new level of faith in my incredible God. I’ve learned to trust Him at a much greater level. It’s a cumulation of my authentic truth. Time after time God had to pull back the layers of pain, disappointment, rejection, and isolation to uncover the beauty that lies within. Although this series is written from a woman perspective, I guarantee that everyone will be able to find themselves on some of the pages. I’ve learned that I’m not so different from the next person. We all struggle. So, this series of book has been written to help those that may still be struggling or to congratulate those that are recovering. I extend a helping hand to let you know you’re not alone. Through this book series I came to understand THAT God has always had his hand upon my life. See, I’ve learned that God is not done with me yet. Our stories are still being created and etched along the way day by day. My first book, The Forgotten Child, is a depiction of my childhood and all the trauma that I endured as a young person. It focuses on the fact that childhood trauma and young-adult hurt can leave us bruised and scarred well into adulthood.Beautifully Broken is the second book in the series, 'From Brokenness to Healing.' After losing my middle child, my second son, James 'Jay' Kennedy, Jr., to gun violence, my mom and a second pancreatic-cancer diagnosis, I set out on a journey of inner healing. Although I had faith I could be healed physically, I realized that to be completely healed, I would have to revisit many secrets of my past.Beautifully Broken was written because I allowed God to mend the places in my life and uncover the secret pain that had been hidden for so long. Sometimes, for things to be put back together, you must go back to the beginning. Go back to the place of pain, rejection, loneliness, and heartbreak. Healed from the Inside Out looks at even more secret places, uncovering them and allowing God to mend the hurt and pain so that a life of abundance, peace, and love can be lived.As I continue to walk out this journey with God, I understand now that my God is bigger than any situation or circumstance that may come my way. My humble beginning has shaped, made, and molded me to be the Woman of God that I am today. I take nothing for granted, knowing that every day of Life is a gift from God. I’m on a journey of healing and restoration. I invite you to come and walk alongside me as we move into our destiny and purpose. For God has a plan for each one of our lives. So, lets live it to the fullest.God has done so many amazing things in my life. I have an amazing husband and children, Doctorate of Theology and Divinity which would never have happened with God leading the way. I give God all the glory for everything that I have ever experienced. So I have learned to rest in Him. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
