This is part two in a series of booklets about the history of Hatfield in Hertfordshire. Part 2 deals mainly with the history of those parts of Roe Green and South Hatfield which lie within the Civil Parish of Hatfield and where relevant with areas beyond the North Mymms Parish boundary. When this series of booklets was published 50 years ago, it was rightly regarded as an exceptionally authoritative and informative work. It has since remained unchallenged as the primary source of reference for anyone interested in the history of Hatfield. Recognising its enduring value, members of Hatfield Local History Society have undertaken this reissue now including a comprehensive index. The complete list of 13 titles can be found in each of the booklets.
