About the authorBarry Gibson is a journalist based in West Yorkshire who has covered national and international news stories in broadcast and print for more than twenty years.He was born and bred in Belfast and spent time living in Taiwan and South Korea. Harmony: Celebrating our prehistoric superpower of singing together is Barry’s second book. It draws on his own experience of joining a choir to illuminate the amazing health benefits - both physical and mental - which come when we sing with other people. His first book The Land That Makes Us Refugees: Northern Ireland through the eyes of its exiles was published in 2025.
