Los ensayos recogidos en esta compilación, escritos por autores latinoamericanos y europeos de reconocida trayectoria internacional, apuntan a mostrar los aportes de Hannah Arendt a una serie de cuestiones fundamentales en los debates contemporáneos sobre filosofía política. Entre estos temas se encuentra el de la importancia pública de las acciones políticas y los movimientos sociales: cómo estos transforman, pluralizan e incluso desestabilizan las fronteras establecidas de lo común. Otro tema relevante es la necesidad de repensar la relación entre ética y política una vez se reconoce el carácter conflictivo de los espacios e identidades sociales.
