Moamen Samir is an Egyptian poet and writer born on 15-11-1975. He is associated with the 'nineties generation' of Egyptian modernist poetry and has been described as a 'post-modern' poet, having moved beyond the poetic styles of the seventies and eighties. Samir’s work spans various genres, including poetry, theatre, and critical essays, with a total of 35 published books.
