Die Frage der Wiederherstellbarkeit ist nach wie vor ein Problem bei zementierten Implantatversorgungen. Dieses Buch beschreibt eine neuartige Methode, wie die Retentionskräfte der Implantat-Suprastrukturen durch vier Faktoren gesteuert werden können. Auswirkungen von Sandstrahlen, Abutmentmaterialien, Abutmentlängen und schließlich der Zementtyp. Jeder Faktor wurde einzeln und in Kombination mit anderen Faktoren getestet. Zur Analyse der 16 Gruppen des Projekts wurde ein neuartiger Ansatz für die statistische Analyse verwendet. Die Ergebnisse der Studie zeigten einen signifikanten Einfluss der vier Faktoren auf die Zementretentionskräfte und ergaben auch unterschiedliche Ergebnisse, wenn zwei oder mehr Faktoren miteinander untersucht wurden.
