The short-story, is one of the most important literary subgenres in Urdu literature, despite its relative youth. This was influenced by western and literary concepts and tendencies, as well as the contemporary industrial and mechanized environment. Chaudhari Mohammad Ali Rudaulvi initially penned articles and booklets on various topics, especially sexuality. Then he turned to fiction. Like Niaz Fatehpuri, his writings were shocking and emotionally wrenching. His literature evoked an atmosphere of enlightenment and liberalism. His language was a combination of sweetness, fluency and humor, which also included humor. At this stage of his literary journey, he emerged from romantic dreams and landed on the bitter ground of reality, and on the strong foundations of social realities, created a literature whose roots were connected and strong with the land of social realism./چودھری محمد علی ردولوی نے ابتدا میں مختلف موضوعات خصوصاً جنسیات پر مضامین اور کتابچے قلمبند کیے۔ پھر ان کا رخ افسانہ نگاری کی جانب ہو گیا۔ نیاز فتح پوری کی طرح، ان کی تحریریں تحیر خیز اور تلخئ احساس سے جھنجھوڑ ڈالنے والی تھیں۔ ان کے ادب سے روشن خیالی اور آزاد خیالی کی فضا جاگتی تھی۔ ان کی زبان میں شیرینی، روانی اور شوخی کا امتزاج تھا، جس میں بذلہ سنجی بھی شامل تھی۔ ادبی سفر کے اس مرحلے پر وہ رومانوی خوابوں سے نکل کر حقیقت کی تلخ زمین پر اترے، اور سماجی حقائق کی مضبوط بنیادوں پر ایک ایسا ادب تخلیق کیا جس کی جڑیں سماجی حقیقت نگاری کی زمین سے مربوط اور توانا تھیں۔
