L’Andhra Pradesh è lo Stato con il più alto numero di mendicanti (30.218), con il più alto numero di mendicanti maschi (16.264) e il più alto numero di mendicanti femmine (13.954) nell’India meridionale, ed è il terzo Stato con il più alto numero di mendicanti in India. Gli studi relativi ai problemi dei mendicanti qui sono quasi realizzabili, con un divario più ampio nella ricerca e la possibilità di cogliere il profilo e i problemi dei mendicanti e di affrontare le questioni in modo integrato.
