I also want to emphasize the need for Christians to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Satan has blinded most Christians with the understanding that being saved and born again are the same experience and they are not. They are saved and are going to Heaven when they die and nothing can change that fact. But they have no Spiritual power to defeat self-sin-and Satan in their lives. Chapter 1 in my book 'My Great Awakening' details my testimony and is the primary truth that I want to be told to all Christians so that we can be ready for His second coming to a Church without spot or wrinkle. I’m 85 years old living in OR with my son and his wife after my precious wife Ann went Home to be with the Lord. We enjoyed 58 years of marriage and I miss her very much. I was born in upstate NY and lived there most of my early years. Graduated from Scotia HS in 1954 and then on to Alfred University where I graduated and also married Ann in 1958. Then on to the business world where I worked with JC Penney, Schenectady Trust Co., General Electric, Magnavox, and the US Army as an Officer. Then in 1970, I moved back to my home state to work in my father’s Real Estate Office. That’s when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and all things unfolded as I have written in my book 'Grip of Heaven'.My faith walk began at an early age when I was saved in the local Methodist Church. I’ve always lived in a Christian family. My grandfather, on my father’s side, came to this Country in 1915 with my father, one brother, and 3 sisters. My grandfather taught Greek in Oswald Chambers Bible School in England before coming to the USA as a Methodist Pastor. I’ve always been a member of some church where I was located. Since my born again gift in 1972, I’ve experienced Spiritual guidance thru visions, dreams, and His voice that are detailed in my book. One of the early pronouncements from the Holy Spirit occurred while a student and staff at Pinecrest Bible Training Center in the 1990s. by a visiting Pastor. He was gifted with the interpretations of Similitudes appearing over individuals. He saw a blasting cap above me and asked if knew what that was. I said it was the start of a great explosion and he said 'that’s right and that I was going to cause an explosion in the Church and good things would unfold.' I see that the book He wrote, using me as His instrument, is what He was telling me about. The result would be the empowerment of Christians to come out of their inability to defeat Satan in their lives.
