In Brasile, il modello OSS è stato creato con l’obiettivo di pubblicizzare i servizi pubblici e raggiungere efficienza e costi inferiori, nonostante abbia creato nuovi rapporti di governance. Studi recenti si sono concentrati sull’analisi dell’efficienza e dell’accessibilità nella sanità pubblica, tuttavia pochi studi si sono dedicati allo studio della governance di questi servizi dal punto di vista della governance aziendale applicata al settore pubblico. In questo contesto, il presente libro ha l’obiettivo di diagnosticare le pratiche di gestione delle Organizzazioni Sociali di Salute [OSS] dello Stato di Rio de Janeiro, alla luce delle raccomandazioni dello Studio 13 del PSC/IFAC.
