The book consists of a compilation of poems that the Author personally selected from his earliest, previously published books of poems. These poems that he selected for this book reflect the Author’s personal favored poems. The book is a compilation of poems taken from the following books: The Keepers of the Shrine Poems, Words That Sound Like Freedom, Fire Burning Under Water, and Reading My Father’s Will (there are two (2) books by this title). With respect to the books Reading My Father’s Will, the Author designated these books his personal drafts to be edited at a later time. Subsequently, he did not attempt to promote either of these books. Consequently, there was minimal editing in the aforementioned books, except to correct a few little minor editing errors discovered in the books selected for this work.
