No scripture is to be interpreted without regard to the relation in which it stands to the other parts. Not only does one scripture support and illuminate another but very often one passage supplements and augments another. This is written to all who will believe with the purpose of leading men to Christ, because everything in the gospel illustrates and demonstrates his providence.
