APOSTLE DR. JAMES A. GORDON is a member of the New Testament Church of God. He served as an associate pastor of a local church for approximately three years before assuming the role of pastor, a position he has held for four years.Previously, he worked as a national and international evangelist. For several years, he was part of the National Evangelism Home and Mission Team (NEHMT), ministering in Jamaica, the West Indies, and the Grand Cayman Islands.Dr. Gordon is a graduate of the Faith Clinic Institute of Ministry, School of Theology, Jamaica W.I., where he earned a diploma in biblical studies. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from the University of North Carolina, School of Theology, as well as master’s and doctorate degrees in Christian counseling, and a doctorate in psychology. He is a certified counselor and holds a doctoral diploma from the American Society of Christian Therapists.Additionally, Dr. Gordon is a licensed clinical Christian counselor. He earned a Ph.D. in philosophy from Conan College & Seminary School of Theology and holds a chaplaincy degree from the American International Christian Chaplains Association Inc. He also completed a program in Domestic Violence Skills Training with the Joint Commission on Chaplain Accreditation and Education (JCCAE), where he is a licensed Master Instructor. He previously served as the Administrative Dean for Conan Bible College & Seminary School of Theology.Dr. Gordon is the Founder and Chancellor of the Macedonia International Church of God, Macedonia International University, Macedonia Theological Seminary and Bible College, and Macedonia International Christian Counselors Incorporation. He is currently developing a training center offering courses in theology, Christian counseling, domestic violence, and chaplaincy programs. Over the years, he has pursued numerous biblical studies and earned several certificates.Apostle Dr. James A. Gordon has preached dynamically under the anointing of the Holy Spirit in Jamaica, the Grand Cayman Islands, the Virgin Islands, England, the United States, Cuba, and other countries worldwide, leading many souls to Christ.He is married to his wife, Maxine, and is a proud father of three sons: Tyrone, Jerome, and Teshaun.Dr. Gordon is the author of three books: Purpose Under Process and God’s Divine Purpose.
