God Favors the Fool

Everything we once believed stood alone as truth turns out to be part of a larger, interwoven design - one that has been hiding in plain sight across every discipline we’ve ever trusted. What if the patterns that shape your life have been hiding in plain sight for thousands of years?God Favors the Fool reveals the remarkable consistency between the Tarot’s archetypes and the recurring structures found across psychology, mythology, spirituality, human physiology, and even cosmology. Rather than treating the Tarot as prediction or mysticism, Elena Olympia Collins shows it as one expression of a universal symbolic language - a map of human experience that appears across cultures, disciplines, and eras.Drawing on forty years of working with the Tarot as a language, Collins traces the Fool’s journey through the cycles we all move through: beginnings and thresholds, uncertainty and insight, collapse and renewal. Whether you come to this book through Tarot, through myth, or through a desire to understand the deeper patterns of human behaviour, you’ll find a clear, grounded framework that makes sense of experiences many people struggle to articulate. These archetypal patterns are not unique to the Tarot. They echo in ancient myths, religious narratives, scientific understandings of the body, and the rhythms of the natural world. By placing these perspectives side by side, Collins reveals the shared architecture beneath them - the enduring structures that shape how we grow, struggle, adapt, and transform. At last, a way to express psychological themes that run throughout the history of the human experience, with the warm resonance of campfire storytelling, the rigor of scientific analysis, and accessible to people of every faith and tradition. This book is not about doctrine or divination. It is about recognizing the patterns that exist across... everything.God Favors the Fool invites readers to look at the world with fresh eyes, free from fear, dogma, or inherited assumptions. In doing so, this exceptional decoding of universal messaging - spanning thousands of years and cultures - offers a path toward self‑awareness, discernment, quiet rebellion, and psychological renewal - qualities essential for anyone seeking clarity in a noisy, fast‑moving world. For readers of Tarot, mythology, psychology, symbolic systems, and cross‑disciplinary nonfiction, God Favors the Fool offers a compelling lens through which to understand the patterns we continue to live.
