The church is struggling to find relevance in today’s world. Society is changing, with currents swirling like a perfect storm-a clash of sacred and secular. Christians must once again take on the task of being a missional people. The aim of GO is simple: to mobilize and unleash Christians—maybe one last time—as a missional people in their world, a gospel voice and a gospel presence, with the primary task of making disciples and sharing the only Good News that can save the world and humanity. The future is not bleak, but bright with divine power available to Christians through the Holy Spirit, where they can once again become missional and live out their calling to be the transforming agents in the world. Not just across oceans, but across streets and cities. At its heart, GO involves recovering essential characteristics not only relevant for engaging a postmodern world but also timeless in their fidelity to the heart of the gospel, which is the advancement of the coming kingdom. This inspirational resource will help Christians navigate these changes more effectively.
