Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit Fragen der Glitch-Musik, einem Genre, das mit der Ästhetik des Irrtums verbunden ist und in den 1990er Jahren entstand. Er gliedert sich in zwei Abschnitte: Im ersten Abschnitt werden erste Definitionen von Glitch und Glitch-Musik vorgenommen, um den allgemeinen Kontext zu umreißen, in dem sich das Genre entwickelt hat. Wir werfen auch konzeptionelle Fragen zum „Fehler' auf und versuchen, die Verwendung des Fehlers als Ästhetik in der Musik aufzuzeigen. Im zweiten Teil zeigen wir drei verschiedene Ansätze zu Glitch bei drei verschiedenen Komponisten: Yasunao Tone, Oval und Alva Noto. Schließlich soll die Arbeit neue Diskussionen darüber anstoßen, was das Genre der Glitch-Musik ist und was es umfasst.
